My old computer broke down about 3 weeks ago. I think it’s the power supply that’s broken. Since my old computer is almost antique I decided that I didn’t want to keep wasting money on replacing broken parts (during the last few years a part has broken at least once a year) so I decided to buy a new computer instead.

I chose a Dell XPS 420 with the following configuration:

• CPU: Intel Q6600 Quad Core 2.40GHz
• Video Card: 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT
• Memory: 4 GB RAM (2×2048MB)
• Hard Drive: 750GB Serial ATA (7200 Rpm)
• DVD Burner: 16X DVD+/-RW
• Sound Card: Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
• TV Tuner: PCIex1 card with remote control

I ordered it yesterday and to my surprise it has already been assembled and shipped! I was told that the estimated delivery date was April 25 but I hope that since is has already been shipped it will arrive much earlier.

I can’t wait!

I just moved all of the services on my domain to Google and when I was moving my blog I noticed that it’s already been almost 4 months since I last posted so I guess it’s time for a new post.

I don’t play World of Warcraft anymore. I have been playing that game on and off for years but I think it’s finally time for something new. World of Warcraft has simply become too boring for me. Since Burning Crusade was released it has become nothing but an endless grind for reputation and honor.

This is where Age of Conan comes into the picture. From what I’ve been reading so far this game sounds very promising. It sounds like a mix between World of Warcraft and Shadowbane (best PvP game I have ever played). It has all the best elements from both games. Huge sieges and city building from Shadowbane and the huge world and dungeons from World of Warcraft. And best of all, no reputation grinding! :P

Now all I have to do is wait for May 20th when it’s released.

This game is so cute and addictive! I used to play it last year around Christmas and somehow I just came across it again.

My current high score is 2,877,420. Not that much, but since I can’t stop playing I’m sure it’ll get better soon.

I finally updated my website. Everything except the blog has got a new design and Mekkie has made a pretty new logo for me. I will code my own blog eventually and integrate it with the rest of the website but it might take a while… I’m lazy! :P

It’s so sad that Gina got voted off American Idol last night. I didn’t expect that to happen at all. She’s so much better than some of the other people that remain on the show.

I think I’m just gonna stop watching American Idol now. Gina and Jordin are the only contestants I really like and now that Gina is out there’s not much left to watch.

I hope Gina will get a recording contract soon. I would definitely buy her album.

I love Gina Glocksen’s performance on American Idol last week. I really like all of her performances but this is my favorite so far.

It’s been over a week since I last posted anything here so I thought I’d post something even though I don’t have much to say.

I started playing World of Warcraft again despite having told myself a few weeks earlier that I would never play that game again. I always hated the amount of time of time it takes to accomplish stuff in World of Warcraft but for some reason every time I quit I start missing the game after a while. I guess that’s what you call addiction. :x

I’ve been playing mostly on PvE servers for the last year or so but this time I made a character on a PvP server. I like it so far. It adds something extra to the game knowing that any moment an enemy could come by and attack you.

I’m not sure how long I’ll keep playing this time. I guess it could be anywhere from a week to several months. :P

I have made some changes to my site over the last few days.

The most obvious change is the new design. I wasn’t satisfied with the old design so when I was working on adding themes I decided to redo the design. I think it came out pretty well. There are still a few things that need be tweaked such as the colors in the menu to the left. I will get that done eventually.

Theme support is also done now. All it really does is change the background color because I wanted to keep it simple. At the moment there are 5 colors to choose from. I might add a few more in the future but I’m satisfied with the current colors so I will probably not add any new ones for a while.

I’m not sure what I’m gonna work on next. Maybe blog archives?

Welcome to my new website Zeppyster.com. Unfortunately, it’s still under construction so there’s not much to see yet. So far, the only thing that’s working is the blog and it’s still very simple. In the future I will be expanding my website with some more features.

The next thing I will add is the ability to choose from a few different themes. The ability to comment on blog entries is also something I wanna add at some point but it might take a little while.

I primarily made this website to learn ASP.NET. It’s actually the first website I’ve made with ASP.NET. In the past I’ve been using PHP but I thought it was time to learn something new.

Anyway, I think that’s enough for now. I will try to post here every now and then if I’ve got something to say. Please come back later. :)
